Security Engineer

TL;DR

Location: Remote within the United States or from hirify.global's San Francisco or New York hubs

Salary: $149,000 - $350,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Perform technical security assessments, code audits, and design reviews.
• Develop technical solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Advocate security and secure practices throughout the company.
• Conduct assessments to identify attack vectors against products and services.
• Run penetration testing, offensive security exercises, and manage the bug bounty program.

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years of engineering experience in security teams.
• Proficient in at least one general purpose coding language.
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix/Mac security, AWS security, Cloud SaaS security, or web application security.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Location: Must be based in the United States or work remotely within the US.

• Experience making prioritization decisions in security controls.
• Background in software engineering with interest in security projects.
