What you will do

• Review requirements and provide feedback on technical design documents.
• Create and maintain automated test cases in Java, Python, and Pytest.
• Build proof of concepts for test automation proposals and lead automation strategy implementation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to add framework support for end-to-end tests.
• Diagnose bugs and ensure system quality before releases.
• Coach quality engineers to improve automation standards.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work hybrid in Bengaluru, India
• 6+ years of software industry experience with strong automation and quality focus.
• Proficient in OOP concepts with Python and Java.
• Deep understanding of database internals and test automation frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Buildkite.
• Hands-on with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with data replication and ETL software testing.
• Knowledge of integration tests and database testing.
