What you will do

• Build and maintain the next generation of hirify.global’s globally distributed object storage system.
• Own code from design through release across multiple software stack layers.
• Write design documents and implement new features or bug fixes.
• Work with languages including Rust, Go, and TypeScript.
• Collaborate on distributed systems ensuring consistency, consensus, and durability.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work in Austin, Seattle, Lisbon, or London
• Strong programming skills in Rust, Go, or TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts such as consistency, consensus, data replication, and partition tolerance.
• Experience with distributed storage systems and building high-throughput, low-latency systems.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical decisions clearly.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.
