Location: Hybrid (Toronto)

What you will do

  • Design and develop high-performance software using C# for live trading and risk systems.
  • Build distributed microservices architecture to support real-time data and analytics.
  • Develop tooling and infrastructure for trading and post-trade workflows.
  • Work with quants to enhance the in-house analytics library.
  • Deploy and manage cloud-native systems using AWS and Kubernetes.
  • Participate in code reviews, CI/CD automation, testing, and production support.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with modern C# and object-oriented development.
  • Hands-on experience with distributed systems and microservice architecture.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native development (AWS, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with Kafka, ActiveMQ, and container orchestration.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows environments.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to production reliability.

Nice to have

  • Experience working in capital markets or pricing/valuation of derivatives.
  • Exposure to JavaScript or Python.
  • Understanding of financial data structures and risk management concepts.
