What you will do

  • Proactively reach out to potential customers through outbound cold calls to establish new accounts and build long-term business relationships.
  • Engage with potential customers through targeted outreach, prospecting, and networking to establish long-term business relationships.
  • Listen to and anticipate customer needs, ensuring timely and effective responses to their inquiries.
  • Collaborate with GPO contracting teams, sourcing managers, and program leaders to stay top-of-mind for new opportunities.
  • Engage with key vendors to further develop our presence in the account.
  • Assess the GPO’s size, influence, decision-making processes, and identify the primary contact responsible for the organization's technology needs.

Requirements

  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment; no prior sales experience is required.
  • Ability to complete sales training and utilize coaching to maintain a book of business with adjusted GP up to $350,000.
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong ability to listen to and anticipate customer needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to build relationships and compose professional business communications.
  • Ability to switch tasks based on shifting priorities and handle multiple responsibilities.
