Unity Engineer

TL;DR

Unity Engineer (EdTech): Developing VR and WebGL builds to enable interactive scientific learning experiences with an accent on backend API integration and gamified module development. Location: Must be based in Istanbul, Turkey. Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote. Office address: Suleyman Seba Street No.: 89, Besiktas, Istanbul.

What you will do

• Develop VR and WebGL builds using Unity.
• Collaborate with backend teams on API integrations, data flow, and system synchronization.
• Integrate scientific content into interactive learning modules.
• Optimize performance and conduct debugging using tools like Profiler and Sentry.
• Manage version control through GitLab and participate in build process workflows.
• Coordinate with UI/UX and QA teams to refine interfaces and test build stability.

Requirements

• Must be based in Istanbul, Turkey.
• English proficiency: B2 minimum.
• Strong knowledge of Unity 3D and C#.
• Experience with WebGL and VR platform development.
• Understanding of OOP, ScriptableObject, and Scene Management.
• Proficiency in Git and API integration.

Nice to have

• Experience with shaders or visual effects.
• Background in educational technology or science-based simulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
