Design Engineer (Software)

What you will do

• Optimize machine capabilities by improving HMI and PLC software based on design.
• Troubleshoot and analyze technical issues with machines on-site.
• Create engineering documents (manuals, procedures) for design changes.
• Collaborate with design teams (including international colleagues) and other departments.
• Support additional project-related tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Strong academic background with a degree in Electrical & Computer Systems Engineering or similar.
• Experience with circuit diagrams and deep understanding of PLC & HMI technology and programming (ideally Siemens S7 and Beckhoff TwinCAT).
• Experience with drive systems (LENZE, Siemens, AMK).
• Ability to analyze and manage projects from conception to completion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and strong analytical thinking.
• High sense of responsibility, ownership, and commitment to projects.
• Leadership skills to organize self and others effectively.
