What you will do
- Design and maintain data pipelines including real-time and streaming data integration.
- Build and optimize data transformations ensuring data quality and lineage.
- Develop core data models and structures for data lakehouses and marts.
- Maintain APIs and delivery mechanisms for internal and external consumers.
- Support knowledge graph enrichment through entity resolution and vector search integration.
- Implement data quality tests, data contracts, and schema management.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in or able to work in Kuala Lumpur with hybrid work arrangement (2 days in office per week).
- English: Proficient (B2 level or higher).
- Proven proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with orchestration tools like Glue, Airflow, or dbt.
- Ability to model and manage data lakehouses, marts, and graph-based designs.
Nice to have
- Experience with APIs (REST, GraphQL) and event-driven design patterns.
- Exposure to streaming frameworks and machine learning/artificial intelligence workflows.
- Experience enriching knowledge graphs and advanced data connectivity.
