What you will do
- Run daily service operations including dispatch, remote diagnostics, and escalation while driving KPIs such as uptime, FTF, MTTR, and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain PFEP/S&OP processes, manage parts BOM accuracy, and oversee 3PL performance and spare parts availability.
- Execute return-to-provider (RTP) programs and hazardous shipments with full chain-of-custody and documentation compliance.
- Coordinate repair, remanufacturing, and recycling flows with approved partners ensuring readiness for extended producer responsibility (EPR) programs.
- Own operational reporting, warranty claim execution, cost tracking, and lead continuous improvement and root cause analysis actions.
Requirements
- Must be located in or able to work onsite in Manteno, Illinois, USA.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
- 6+ years experience in aftermarket or service operations in EV battery, ESS, or automotive sectors; 2+ years leading technicians or vendor teams.
- Knowledge of Li-ion battery packs, PFEP/S&OP, 3PL scorecards, CMMS/CRM workflows, and hazmat logistics (DOT/IATA UN3480/3481).
- Strong safety and compliance mindset with proven KPI ownership and ability to travel up to 40%.
Nice to have
- Lean/6σ Green Belt or equivalent continuous improvement training.
- BI tools experience (Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
- Experience with battery remanufacturing, recycling, or state EPR programs.
