What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of Data Engineers and BI Developers, fostering collaboration and career growth.
• Manage workload distribution, sprint planning, and delivery timelines to ensure high-quality output.
• Oversee the development of robust data pipelines, transformations, and cloud-based architectures (Snowflake, dbt, Airflow).
• Ensure BI dashboards and reporting solutions (Power BI or similar) meet business needs and maintain consistency in metrics.
• Define and enforce coding, testing, documentation, and performance optimization protocols.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across product, analytics, and business functions to translate needs into scalable technical solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, BI, or analytics development.
• At least 2 years in a leadership role within data-focused teams.
• Solid expertise in SQL and data modeling.
• Proficiency in modern data stack tools such as Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow.
• Strong knowledge of BI tools (Power BI preferred).
• Familiarity with Python or other programming languages for data workflows.
• Demonstrated success in prioritizing tasks and achieving goals in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in Poland without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Redis, Celery, or distributed data workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, version control, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Industry background in gaming, entertainment, or large-scale data environments.
