Automation Engineer (AI): Designing, implementing, and optimizing automation systems at a production site with an accent on robotics, digital integration, and lean processes. Focus on leading automation projects to enable cost-effective, high-volume, and defense-grade production.

Location: On-site in Wissous

Next-generation defense prime building autonomous and scalable defense systems.

What you will do

Design and deploy automated solutions across key manufacturing and test processes.
Maximize OEE through improved uptime, performance, and first-pass yield.
Connect automation platforms to ERP/MES for live traceability and performance data.
Evaluate and prototype new automation and robotics technologies.
Train technical staff and provide user-friendly system documentation.

Requirements

Degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or equivalent.
5+ years experience in manufacturing automation.
Strong command of robotics, PLCs, sensors, and automation safety standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English.
