What you will do

• Define and uphold VFX vision and standards for League of Legends skins in collaboration with partner studios.
• Lead, mentor, and grow the VFX team in Singapore as a center of excellence.
• Manage full lifecycle of VFX team members including onboarding, development, and performance management.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback to partner studios to meet Riot’s quality bar.
• Collaborate closely with art, technical, animation, and production teams across locations.
• Identify risks and maintain sustainable delivery through proactive communication.

Requirements

• Must be based in Singapore or willing to relocate with full relocation support provided.
• 7+ years professional experience in VFX for games, film, or real-time content.
• 3+ years in a lead or supervisory role with strong mentorship skills.
• Deep mastery of VFX fundamentals including timing, color, composition, motion, and readability.
• Experience with game engines such as Unreal, Unity, or proprietary tools.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) required.

Nice to have

• AAA experience on stylized, character-focused games.
• Experience balancing visual impact and gameplay clarity for competitive titles.
• Familiarity with VFX tools like Unreal’s Niagara or Unity’s VFX Graph.
• Multilingual ability to interface with partner studios.
