Software Implementation Consultant (Retail Software)

Location: Remote, Italy-based. Occasional travel within the European Union is required for client meetings and industry events.

What you will do

• Participate in pre-sales activities, client meetings, needs discussions, and software demonstrations.
• Support implementation projects for retail software solutions.
• Conduct pilot deployments and pre-project system setups.
• Configure systems according to project requirements.
• Deliver user training and provide implementation-related support.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional experience in food or fashion retail, IT, digital, or technology-enabled business environments.
• Experience using or coordinating business and digital systems such as CRM, ERP, SCM, POS, or analytics platforms.
• Motivation to develop in IT solution implementation, consulting, and client-facing work.
• Italian: full professional fluency required as the primary working language.
• English: professional working proficiency at B1–B2 level or higher.
• Ability to work remotely from Italy.

Nice to have

• Understanding of business or retail processes and how technology supports daily operations.
• Experience with stakeholder communication, system walkthroughs, training, support, or presentations.
• Experience with retail IT solutions.
• Spanish at B2 level or higher.
