Senior Engineering Manager (Game Engine)

Location: Remote from anywhere in the world or from one of the company’s offices

What you will do

• Build, coach, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering organization.
• Partner with Technical Producers to define and execute the technology product roadmap.
• Lead engineering excellence initiatives across technology, tools, solution design, production, and operations.
• Work on the game engine, platform services, and development tools for the company’s games.
• Improve delivery and operations processes for independent, self-organized teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on engineering experience, including 5+ years in senior management roles.
• Experience managing 25+ engineers, including mobile development teams.
• Hands-on mobile development experience or experience managing mobile development teams.
• Strong software engineering expertise, preferably with large mobile products and native iOS or Android development.
• Experience with high-load products, distributed architecture, change management, and departmental-level production processes.
• Experience with C++, Python, Go, JavaScript, mobile or desktop development tools, and game engine architecture.

Nice to have

• Experience in game development.
• Experience with C#, Java, or Scala.
