What you will do

• Design and develop large-scale batch and real-time ML solutions in collaboration with software and ML engineers.
• Lead and implement innovative ML applications across pricing, inventory, content, and trust & safety.
• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of mid- to large-scale ML projects from design to deployment.
• Establish best practices and industry standards for ML integration and deployment.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote ML best practices.
• Drive cross-organizational initiatives and solve complex technical challenges to enhance scalability and performance.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Gurgaon, Haryana, India
• English: B2 level or higher required
• 8+ years experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years with a Master’s in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python and Scala or Java.
• Expertise in Big Data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, and Hive.
• Proven experience productionizing ML models including feature engineering, scalability, validation, and deployment.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, EMR, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Experience building real-time applications, preferably with Spark.
• Familiarity with ML platforms such as Databricks or SageMaker and ML libraries like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow or Flyte.
• Experience in e-commerce or travel industry.
