What you will do
- Lead a full-stack feature team of mobile, API, and quality engineers specializing in Android.
- Collaborate with leads, architects, designers, and product owners to define roadmaps and technical designs.
- Contribute to the codebase and provide oversight and feedback via pull requests.
- Demonstrate leadership for mobile architecture, API, and micro-service design, with deep Android development knowledge.
- Provide line-management and personal development support to engineering team members.
- Develop tactical plans for resource and asset optimization.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading software engineering projects within large, distributed systems.
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills to align diverse teams.
- Proven experience with modern application development approaches including automated testing, TDD, CI, pair programming, code review, and version control.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and strong knowledge of Jetpack Compose.
- Solid understanding of clean architecture, design patterns (MVP, MVVM, MVI), and principles (SOLID, DRY).
- Confidence to express opinions and be pragmatic in modifying them.
