TL;DR

Solution Architect (Fintech): Designing and delivering client solutions using Engine's SaaS banking technology platform with an accent on solution architecture, client engagement, and integration. Focus on designing scalable architectures, guiding technical implementations, and supporting client success across multiple international markets.

Location: Hybrid within commutable distance to London office with national and international travel

What you will do

  • Explain Engine technology and architecture to clients and stakeholders.
  • Support sales and delivery phases, collaborating with Engineering, Product, Delivery, and Client Success teams.
  • Lead technical discussions during discovery and design client-specific solutions including integrations and localizations.
  • Provide expert guidance and technical ownership for client deliveries and integrations.
  • Collaborate with partners and internal teams to troubleshoot and enhance the platform.
  • Contribute to product roadmap and support technical demos and workshops.

Requirements

  • Experience in end-to-end software engineering and solution architecture.
  • Proficiency with RESTful APIs, OpenAPI, and sequence diagrams.
  • Experience in client-facing roles with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver complex messaging to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable with national and international travel.

Nice to have

  • Experience in retail or business banking, core banking, card processing, or payments.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and large-scale cloud applications.
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, microservices, Java, and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience in digital transformation and application migration projects.
