Location: Reading, Berkshire (Hybrid role)

What you will do

  • Define and lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the next-generation data platform.
  • Architect and implement a modern data lakehouse model and data mesh for decentralized ownership.
  • Deliver real-time streaming capabilities to support analytics and IoT use cases.
  • Partner with internal data consumers to ensure high data accessibility, quality, and usability.
  • Own key platform components including governance, BI tooling, and ML-ready pipelines.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and data scientists to translate technical strategy into business value.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to commute to Reading, Berkshire for hybrid work.
  • Proven experience as a Senior, Lead, or Principal Product Manager within data platforms or analytics infrastructure.
  • Deep expertise in data lakehouse architecture, data mesh models, and real-time streaming technologies.
  • Technical familiarity with Databricks, Delta Lake, Apache Spark, or Kafka.
  • Strong product discovery skills with the ability to balance long-term platform investments with short-term deliverables.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to align diverse business needs.
