What you will do
- Lead and develop a team of senior analysts, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Translate strategic business priorities into actionable analytics roadmaps.
- Oversee delivery of multiple concurrent projects ensuring stakeholder alignment.
- Deliver hands-on analytics to inform insurance partner strategies and pricing decisions.
- Identify risks, champion improvements, and influence strategy through storytelling.
- Support product and engineering teams with analytical data product development.
Requirements
- Location: Hybrid role based in Cardiff, United Kingdom
- Substantial experience in data analytics, preferably in insurance or financial services.
- Strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and Tableau.
- Deep expertise in insurance pricing methodologies and risk-based pricing principles.
- Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strategic thinker with excellent communication and ability to navigate ambiguity.
Nice to have
- Understanding of FCA regulatory guidance and compliance implications.
- Experience in client-facing consulting roles.
