What you will do

  • Lead and develop a team of senior analysts, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Translate strategic business priorities into actionable analytics roadmaps.
  • Oversee delivery of multiple concurrent projects ensuring stakeholder alignment.
  • Deliver hands-on analytics to inform insurance partner strategies and pricing decisions.
  • Identify risks, champion improvements, and influence strategy through storytelling.
  • Support product and engineering teams with analytical data product development.

Requirements

  • Location: Hybrid role based in Cardiff, United Kingdom
  • Substantial experience in data analytics, preferably in insurance or financial services.
  • Strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and Tableau.
  • Deep expertise in insurance pricing methodologies and risk-based pricing principles.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent communication and ability to navigate ambiguity.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of FCA regulatory guidance and compliance implications.
  • Experience in client-facing consulting roles.
