What you will do

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to design and implement new frontend and backend capabilities.
• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance features using Typescript, React, Canvas, WebSocket, and backend technologies like Java and Kotlin.
• Contribute to architecture and technical direction of the team domain.
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues ensuring high availability and performance.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in Amsterdam
• English: B2 level or higher
• 5+ years experience as a software engineer with focus on frontend technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Javascript, React, Typescript, WebGL, Canvas API or similar 2D graphics libraries.
• Experience with real-time technologies such as WebSocket.
• Good knowledge of Java, Kotlin, relational databases (PostgreSQL), AWS services, microservices architecture, and event streaming platforms like Kafka.
