What you will do

• Own design and architecture of solutions, making pragmatic technology choices and guiding delivery end-to-end.
• Lead delivery by tracking work, mitigating risks, and resolving issues at team and client levels.
• Build and nurture high-performing teams by fostering growth, wellbeing, inclusivity, and mentoring key people.
• Influence and consult with clients to design scalable solutions that drive business value.
• Champion engineering best practices such as TDD, pair programming, clean code, and design patterns.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design concepts, build prototypes, and embed UX best practices.
• Apply continuous delivery and DevSecOps practices to deliver secure, high-quality software quickly and sustainably.
• Remain hands-on with coding using multiple languages and modern practices.
• Leverage hirify.global Technology Radar insights to adopt new tools and approaches.
• Advocate for a culture of feedback, learning, and inclusivity to help teams thrive.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
• Proficiency in at least one modern language and framework (e.g., Java 11 + Spring Boot) with object-oriented programming skills.
• Experience leading software development teams using Agile, Lean, and/or Continuous Delivery practices.
• Practical knowledge of engineering best practices such as TDD, continuous integration, pairing, and infrastructure automation.
• Learning mindset with interest in functional programming, event-driven architecture, or platform engineering.
• Experience influencing others and bridging product and technology to translate business needs into software requirements.
• Ability to develop and execute a technical vision focused on business value.
• Mentoring skills to inspire and support less experienced peers.
• Resilience in ambiguous situations and ability to approach challenges from multiple perspectives.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with headless commerce platforms like commercetools.
