Senior Java/Python/Node.js Full Stack Developer

Senior Fullstack Developer (Java/Python/Node.js): Collaborating with analysts, designers, and project managers to design software solutions and deliver impactful results for clients with an accent on clean code, iterative development, and better engineering practices. Focus on solving complex business problems, mentoring junior consultants, and ensuring code quality and team health.

Location: hirify.global Singapore will be shortlisting applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore i.e. Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents only due to the nature of the business. You may be expected to work out of our hirify.global office or at our client's office location for all five working days of the week, depending on business or clients’ needs.

• Learn and adopt best practices like writing clean and reusable code using TDD, pair programming and design patterns.
• Use and advocate for continuous delivery practices to deliver high-quality software and value to end customers as early as possible.
• Work in collaborative, value-driven teams to build innovative customer experiences for our clients.
• Create large-scale distributed systems out of microservices.
• Collaborate with a variety of teammates to build features, design concepts and interactive prototypes and ensure best practices and UX specifications are embedded along the way.
• Efficiently utilize DevSecOps tools and practices to build and deploy software, advocating devops culture and shifting security left in development.

Requirements

• You have 6+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• You are well-versed in both backend language (Java/Python/Node.js) and frontend language (Javascript/Typescript) and are comfortable with the latest Object-Oriented technology.
• You have hands-on experience with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) databases.
• You can skillfully write high-quality, well-tested code and are comfortable with Object-Oriented programming.
• You are comfortable with Agile methodologies, such as Extreme Programming (XP), Scrum and/or Kanban.
• You have a good awareness of TDD, continuous integration, continuous delivery approaches, and version control systems like Git.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud and infrastructure/Devops technology such as AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes or Terraform
