What you will do

• Deliver game designer’s vision by designing and implementing engaging game mechanics focused on player experience.
• Design, develop, and maintain software using modern engineering practices.
• Develop server-side game logic components and simulations.
• Write unit tests and conduct peer design/code reviews.
• Provide technical solutions to complex problems and document technical details.
• Collaborate closely with game designers to assess feasibility of game features.

Requirements

• Location: Based in or able to work from Timisoara, Romania
• English: Proficient English required (B2+)
• Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented design principles.
• Experience in server-side application development and scalable backend systems.
• Knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean code practices.
• Experience with unit testing and Git version control.

Nice to have

• Full-stack development experience with React and Node.js.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
• Knowledge of Slot Math and Mechanics.
