What you will do
- Deliver game designer’s vision by designing and implementing engaging game mechanics focused on player experience.
- Design, develop, and maintain software using modern engineering practices.
- Develop server-side game logic components and simulations.
- Write unit tests and conduct peer design/code reviews.
- Provide technical solutions to complex problems and document technical details.
- Collaborate closely with game designers to assess feasibility of game features.
Requirements
- Location: Based in or able to work from Timisoara, Romania
- English: Proficient English required (B2+)
- Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented design principles.
- Experience in server-side application development and scalable backend systems.
- Knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean code practices.
- Experience with unit testing and Git version control.
Nice to have
- Full-stack development experience with React and Node.js.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
- Knowledge of Slot Math and Mechanics.
