Technical Director New IP (Game Development)

What you will do

• Lead a team of experienced Gameplay and AI Programmers and coordinate cross-functional Engine teams.
• Set high-level technical vision and establish strategies for future development of a AAA game engine.
• Initiate, estimate, and track implementation of gameplay and AI mechanics aligned with game needs.
• Design and implement data validation and build tools, and set up project structure and specifications.
• Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing across disciplines and projects.
• Maintain code quality and participate in code reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of game industry experience including at least one AAA console project.
• Strong technical knowledge in C/C++ programming and software development practices.
• Experience as Lead Programmer or Technical Director with team management skills.
• Experience with modern game engines and multiplatform development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and excellent math skills.
• Fluent in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with rendering technologies such as DirectX and OpenGL.
• Experience in rendering technology development like shadowing, reflections, and depth of field.
• Passion for games.
