What you will do

• Lead engineering efforts including architecture, design, implementation, testing, and release of core backend services.
• Influence key technical decisions and set technical direction for products.
• Promote best practices and engineering excellence across the team.
• Mentor and collaborate with junior team members and stakeholders.
• Drive innovation and maintain high standards in software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Bengaluru, India
• Expertise in backend engineering, distributed systems, and microservice architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Spring Webflux, GraphQL, REST, and message queues.
• Experience with NoSQL and SQL databases including MongoDB, Cassandra, and Postgres.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker).
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with leadership and stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with observability tools like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Jaeger, Tempo, and Grafana.
• Knowledge of cloud design principles and container orchestration.
