What you will do
- Develop safety evaluation frameworks critical to ML model improvements.
- Design and implement robust data analysis pipelines and validation frameworks.
- Apply statistical methods and ML models to analyze historical and simulation data for safety assessment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Simulation and Planning for comprehensive safety evaluation.
Requirements
- Location: Must be onsite in Mountain View, California, United States
- PhD in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, or Physics.
- 7+ years of industry experience solving large-scale complex problems.
- Expertise in advanced statistical methods including ML models, hypothesis testing, and causal analysis.
- Proficiency with Python, SQL, and R data analysis libraries.
- Ability to handle ambiguous data and complex business requirements.
Nice to have
- Experience with Autonomous Driving related problems.
- Knowledge of advanced ML techniques like Deep Learning and Diffusion models.
- Hands-on experience with Google infrastructure tools such as PLX, Borg, and GCL.
