What you will do

• Improve signal quality in evaluation workflows to detect perception system issues
• Apply generative AI models to enhance offboard perception detection features
• Evaluate model improvements on pipeline statistical efficiency

Requirements

• Must be located for hybrid onsite work in San Francisco, California, United States
• Programming proficiency in C++ and ability to navigate large codebases
• Experience with data analysis and statistical estimation
• Pursuing a PhD in a quantitative field

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale distributed systems
• Experience training and evaluating machine learning models
• Experience with computer vision or perception
