TL;DR

Location: Hybrid with at least 25% office presence, San Francisco office

Salary: £255,000 - £325,000 GBP annually

What you will do

• Lead cybersecurity incident response across all technology layers including external and insider threats
• Develop and deploy AI-enhanced detection, investigation, and response tools
• Create and optimize incident detection playbooks and workflows
• Review and improve incident response metrics and procedures
• Collaborate cross-functionally with security and engineering teams
• Participate in an on-call rotation

Requirements

• Must have 3+ years software engineering or 5+ years detection engineering, incident response, or threat hunting experience
• Strong understanding of cloud environments and SaaS operations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to lead projects independently
• Experience with security tools such as EDR, SIEM, SOAR
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes security operations
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience in threat intelligence, malware analysis, or forensics
• Startup environment experience
