What you will do

• Lead technical improvements for ML systems, focusing on scalability, stability, accuracy, speed, and efficiency.
• Build, administer, and scale ML processing pipelines.
• Design, build, test, and deploy new libraries, frameworks, or full systems for core operations, maintaining high standards of testing and code quality.
• Work with experienced engineers and product owners to identify and build tools to automate large-scale data management and analysis tasks.
• Take end-to-end ownership of systems that enable the delivery of ML models to production at scale.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in software engineering with a minimum of 4+ years in Machine Learning.
• Expert in SQL, Python3, and JVM-based programming languages such as Java or Scala.
• Expert in software design principles, design patterns, functional programming, and object-oriented programming.
• Demonstrated analytical problem-solving capabilities and a strong engineering-driven mindset.

Nice to have

• Good understanding of Hadoop ecosystems and Big Data architecture and technologies.
• Experience working with Open-source products.
• Experience with Scala development.
• Working in an agile environment using test-driven methodologies.
• Systems administration skills in Linux.
