Unity Programmer (Unity)

Location: In-house team in Valencia, Spain; remote work is available one day per week

What you will do

• Develop engaging, high-quality game experiences using Unity and C#.
• Implement scalable and maintainable code using software design patterns and best practices.
• Debug and optimize Unity projects for performance.
• Collaborate with the in-house team while also working independently on development tasks.
• Contribute to PC and console game development and deployment.
• Potentially work with multiplayer systems, shaders, third-party SDKs, plugins, and services.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of C# programming and the Unity Engine API.
• Solid understanding of game development fundamentals.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, Perforce, or Plastic SCM.
• Knowledge of software design patterns, debugging, and Unity performance optimization.
• Ability to work in a Spanish- and English-speaking environment.
• At least two years of Unity and C# experience through professional or personal projects.

Nice to have

• Experience with PC and console game development and deployment.
• Experience with multiplayer or networked games, including Photon, Mirror, or UNet.
• Understanding of shader programming and graphics optimization.
• Experience with Scrum, Kanban, third-party SDKs, plugins, or services.
• A portfolio showcasing previous game development work.
