What you will do

• Lead technical and design discussions with customers and IT executives to accelerate cloud adoption.
• Architect and build scalable, cloud-native applications on AWS using services like API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, ECS, and AKS.
• Develop event-driven applications and migrate monolithic apps to microservices architectures.
• Advise on AWS best practices and influence infrastructure architecture through application expertise.
• Work closely with business, development, and infrastructure teams as a technical leader.
• Travel to client locations as needed to deliver professional services.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• 8+ years of software development or application engineering experience with recent coding in two or more languages such as Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, Swift, Python, Go, or Ruby.
• 5+ years in customer-facing technical specialist roles.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Hands-on development experience with ability to write and review code.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Cloud certifications and experience architecting applications on AWS.
• Experience with container and serverless technologies.
• Knowledge of highly available system design including load balancing and horizontal scalability.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices.
• Strong application development experience on Linux and Windows systems.
• Public speaking, blogging, or community engagement in technology.
