What you will do

• Drive commercial contracting by reviewing, drafting, and negotiating agreements.
• Partner on data, privacy, and AI by providing legal advice on GDPR, international data transfers, and emerging AI regulations.
• Scale legal as a business enabler by solving legal questions in real-time.
• Improve and maintain scalable legal templates, playbooks, and training materials.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer (Europe-based) with 5+ years PQE, ideally with both top-tier law firm and in-house SaaS experience.
• Strong English fluency: Clearly communicate legal nuance in plain terms to global stakeholders.
• Deep experience in SaaS agreements, open-source licensing, and commercial deal-making.
• Confident navigating GDPR, CCPA, and emerging AI regulations in a practical, business-centric way.
• Builder mindset: Thriving in ambiguity, enjoying solving problems without a playbook, and constantly looking for ways to improve how legal works.
• Cross-functional collaborator: Empathetic, business-minded, and able to balance legal risk with product and revenue goals.
