What you will do

• Identify and connect with new Milvus users across GitHub, Discord, and LinkedIn through structured outreach.
• Educate developers on vector database concepts, Milvus features, and usage best practices.
• Build tooling and automations to scale growth.
• Nurture relationships through regular check-ins, while providing basic technical guidance.
• Collaborate with sales and solutions engineering teams.
• Represent Milvus at virtual and in-person events to expand community reach.

Requirements

• A technical background in computer science, data science, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• A self-starter mindset with a strong bias toward learning, experimentation, and iteration.
• Prior experience in developer advocacy, technical community engagement, sales engineering, or similar roles.
• Comfortable initiating conversations via LinkedIn, GitHub, or email.
• Experience with CRM workflows, email sequences, or lightweight sales/marketing automation tools.
