TL;DR

Location: This is a hybrid role based in Mexico.

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests for web and API-based applications.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks, root causes, and recommend optimizations across application, database, and infrastructure layers.
  • Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure systems meet performance benchmarks.
  • Create performance test scripts, scenarios, and data models that simulate real-world usage patterns.
  • Collect, analyze, and report performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Contribute to continuous performance testing within CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in performance and automation testing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with Apache JMeter.
  • Experience with LoadRunner, TruClient, VuGen, and BlazeMeter.
  • Experience with distributed load testing and cloud-based tools (e.g., AWS EC2, Linux).
  • Experience with New Relic or similar performance monitoring tools.
  • Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and agile development practices.
