TL;DR
Solutions Engineer (Fintech): Designing and delivering technical product solutions that meet customer needs and highlight the value of the platform with an accent on customer collaboration, payments solutions, and internal decision-making. Focus on problem-solving, communicating technical concepts, and providing domain expertise to customers and internal teams.
Location: New York, New York, United States. NYC-based employees work from our SoHo office three days a week. Tuesdays and Thursdays are our core days, and you'll choose a third day that works for your schedule and team needs.
Salary: $170,000 - $225,000 plus equity. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at and will be narrowed during the interview process based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

What you will do
- Design and deliver technical product solutions that address customer needs and showcase the value of ’s platform.
- Collaborate with customers, sales, and technical teams to develop tailored solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Apply strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze customer challenges, identify best use cases, and develop effective solutions.
- Provide domain expertise and insights to guide internal decision-making and identify opportunities for future product development.
- Develop deep expertise in card issuance and processing, becoming a trusted advisor to both customers and internal teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or a similar customer-facing role focused on implementing payments solutions.
- 3–5 years of experience in FinTech, particularly in payments, card issuance, or financial services technologies.
- Strong understanding of APIs and complex technical concepts, with the ability to translate them into clear, actionable insights for customers.
- Excellent communication skills: able to translate technical information into clear business language to different internal stakeholders.
- Strong presentation skills: comfortable and confident presenting to external teams technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced, high-growth environment, comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving results.
