Ptolemay is a full-cycle outsourcing IT company specializing in the development of mobile and web applications for businesses and startups.
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer for an outstaff project, focused on building cloud-native, API-driven, and ML-ready infrastructure. The role requires a strong mix of DevOps, Python engineering, containerization, and ModelOps expertise.

Project
Development of a cloud-native backend platform with production-grade APIs, automated CI/CD pipelines, containerized microservices, and ModelOps workflows. The system includes API gateway services, ML model lifecycle management, centralized logging/monitoring, and secure Azure-based cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
• Design and develop robust REST APIs using Python (Flask, FastAPI, or Django).
• Build, maintain, and automate CI/CD pipelines and ModelOps workflows.
• Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker & Kubernetes.
• Operate and optimize cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
• Ensure high levels of scalability, security, observability, and compliance.
• Implement reproducibility, traceability, and governance in the application lifecycle.
• Collaborate with backend, ML, and cloud teams to deliver reliable production systems.

Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience in DevOps / Platform engineering.
• Strong Python development skills (expert level).
• Proven experience building and supporting production APIs.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools and automation practices.
• Hands-on expertise with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with ModelOps / MLOps tools & workflows.
• Experience working in cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
Nice to Have:
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Container Registry, Azure Key Vault.
• Familiarity with Databricks or similar data platforms.
• Experience with MLflow (tracking, model registry).
• Background in CI/CD and ModelOps for complex distributed applications.
