What you will do

• Design and implement automation frameworks for database lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to integrate systems via APIs.
• Optimize Postgres performance and backup strategies.
• Participate in APAC Time-friendly on-call shifts.

Requirements

• Deep experience in both database engineering and software development.
• Strong background in Python; experience with Ruby or Perl is acceptable.
• 7+ years of experience with relational databases, preferably Postgres.
• Solid understanding of SQL; experience with procedural languages is beneficial.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) is helpful.
• Strong communication skills; able to work effectively in a distributed team.
