Location: Hybrid in Pune, India. Expected to travel to New Zealand during interim and year-end audit periods.

What you will do

• Lead the preparation of the Group’s consolidated financials and regional financial statements under IFRS.
• Own the end-to-end statutory audit process for regional legal entities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and ensure consistent application of accounting policies across the Group.
• Ensure process level internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).
• Provide leadership and coaching to team members.
• Drive automation and system enhancements for efficient reporting and compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of accountancy and people management experience.
• Big 4 or top-tier audit firm experience with a strong focus on audits of listed or multinational companies.
• Hands-on experience leading or managing complex group audits, including consolidation processes and audit of subsidiaries in multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS e.g. revenue recognition, lease, ESOP, impairment, financial instruments, etc.
• Experience in reviewing and reporting on internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) at process level.
• Proven ability to work with board-level stakeholders and Audit Committees.
