Focus on ensuring high reliability and availability for hirify.global’s API, orchestrating cross-functional teamwork, and improving systems and processes within the team.

Location: Employees in the NYC area are asked to work from our SoHo office three days a week - Tuesdays and Thursdays are core in-office days - the third is flexible.

Salary: $160,000 - $190,000

What you will do

• Lead development of new card and account opening lifecycle features (card issuance, tokenization, physical card manufacturing, KYB/KYC, document collection & applications).
• Own initiatives from planning to launch, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned along the way.
• Ensure high reliability and availability for hirify.global’s API.
• Orchestrate cross-functional teamwork to design standards across all engineering teams.
• Provide expertise to bring industry best practices to our APIs.
• Lead efforts to improve systems and processes within the team.

Requirements

• Experience shipping in production environment and leading projects.
• Strong distributed system instincts and design skills.
• Experience in or desire to learn Rust.
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and step in as a strong individual contributor.
• Growth mindset and continuous desire to learn and improve.
• An interest in fintech and the payments space is preferred.
