Location: Hybrid, at least 2 days a week in Manchester

What you will do

• Own and evolve the technical vision for Point-of-Sale systems
• Drive consistency, scalability, and architectural alignment across teams
• Get hands-on with code (Kotlin & React) when needed
• Champion engineering best practices including testing and CI/CD
• Support engineers with mentorship and design guidance
• Collaborate closely with product managers and other engineering leads

Requirements

• Experience leading large-scale technical initiatives
• Strong Kotlin or Java engineering skills
• Experience with React or modern JS frameworks
• Ability to connect teams and codebases effectively
• Comfortable with ambiguity in fast-paced environments
• Commitment to building inclusive teams and great customer experiences
