TL;DR

Sr. Software Engineer (Frontend): Leading the development and architecture of features for the Risk Cloud platform with an accent on modern frontend tools such as Angular and Typescript. Focus on cross-functional collaboration and implementing engineering best practices such as testing and iterative development.

Location: Hybrid workplace, located in Chicago, US.

Salary: $120,000 - $170,000 per year + variable + equity + benefits.

What you will do

  • Develop using Angular, Typescript, and other leading Front-End tools to build a market-leading product.
  • Write tests and review code to facilitate an efficient dev cycle and prevent bugs.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members using Agile methodologies to iterate on feature work.
  • Help improve our front-end application for speed, reliability, and scalability.

Requirements

  • Significant (6+ years) professional experience in software engineering or a Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Understanding of best practices and competency in one or more modern languages.
  • Strong expertise in developing web applications with modern front-end frameworks.
  • Desire for an autonomous environment that enables you to do your best work.

Nice to have

  • Experience with tools, languages, and frameworks powering our platform.
  • Experience working across the full software stack.
  • Experience optimizing a CI/CD system.
  • Experience with accessibility standards, practices, and tools.
