Senior Fullstack Node Developer: Contributing to the next phase of growth of learning management SaaS products with an accent on writing clean, well-tested, and secure code. Focus on microservices architecture, maintaining multiple microservices, and remediating security risks.

What you will do

• Write clean, production-ready, and well-tested code, focusing on code quality and security.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to production issues to remediate rapidly.
• Work in an agile development model, contributing to sprint planning activities and identifying technical dependencies.
• Build reliable observability, monitor alerts, and ensure the team is aware of quality issues or outages.
• Provide support to teammates in resolving complex problems and overcoming design challenges.
• Maintain and upgrade multiple microservices, and remediate security risks.

Requirements

• Possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience with SaaS applications.
• Proficiency with Node.js.
• Knowledge of Git source control, versioning/branching, and rebasing.
• Proficient in AWS systems (Lambda, ECS, RDS, S3, Security Groups, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Experience with the Agile SCRUM model.

Nice to have

• Experience with C#, Go, Terraform, and Typescript.
