TL;DR
Creative Game Designer (Gamedev): Finding growth opportunities and improvements for our products with an accent on analyzing the product, generating hypotheses, and handing over the most promising ideas to the Core Feature team for implementation. Focus on creating concepts and prototypes for mechanics, features, or changes.
What you will do
- Come up with and shape hypotheses to improve gameplay, engagement, and monetization
- Create concepts and prototypes for mechanics, features, or changes
- Test hypotheses, gather data, and draw conclusions
- Pass the best ideas to the Core Feature team for large-scale implementation
- Work closely with programmers on execution, giving feedback at every stage to deliver the intended feature
- Build the roadmap together with the project producer
Requirements
- Experience as a Game Designer on mobile F2P projects (midcore/casual)
- Strong understanding of game systems and economy design
- Ability to find key insights in data and turn them into measurable growth
- Skills in quickly documenting and presenting ideas
- A flexible mindset and readiness to experiment a lot
Nice to have
- Experience with LiveOps or A/B testing
- Knowledge of product analytics (Cohorts, Retention, LTV, ARPPU)
- Experience launching hypotheses in R&D / Product Discovery formats
- A strong background in Idle games as a player
- Familiarity with our games Roadside Empire and My Aquapark
