Focus on developing and maintaining REST/gRPC APIs using Spring Boot (with a planned transition to FastAPI), securing APIs via Keycloak/AD/ADFS, and optimizing schemas and queries in Oracle/PostgreSQL.

Location: Must be able to relocate to the UAE

Salary: up to an additional 1,000 USD per month (included in the annual bonus)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain REST/gRPC APIs using Spring Boot (transitioning to FastAPI).
• Secure APIs via Keycloak/AD/ADFS, implementing RBAC, rate limiting, and policies using Kong/WSO2.
• Design and optimize schemas and queries in Oracle/PostgreSQL.
• Configure and operate CDN (CloudFront, Cloudflare, Fastly, Akamai) for storing and delivering large media files.
• Integrate notification systems: SMTP, SMPP, push notifications (APNs/FCM or self-hosted).
• Use Elasticsearch/Elastic APM for search, tracing, and log analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience building microservices with Spring Boot and/or FastAPI.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, with willingness to transition to FastAPI.
• Experience with Elasticsearch and any relational database (e.g., PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of CDN configuration and operation.
• Experience with API Gateways and Identity Providers (preferably Kong + Keycloak).
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice to have

• Understanding of Oracle SOA Suite 12.2.1.4 (BPEL, OSB, Mediators, Adapters).
• Integration experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.
• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and/or Go.
