What you will do

• Design and implement infrastructure solutions and features based on requirements and best practices.
• Drive improvements to existing standards and identify efficiency opportunities within infrastructure.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
• Lead by example on quality design and coding standards.
• Mentor less experienced teammates to foster team growth.
• Build relationships with other engineering teams to facilitate cross-team collaboration.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer with a focus on infrastructure or tooling in a large-scale environment.
• Expertise in the full software development life cycle.
• Proficiency in one or more object-oriented languages (Python, Go, Java, C++).
• Strong experience with containers and orchestration engines (Kubernetes, Mesos).
• Understanding of core infrastructure services, distributed systems, microservices, and large-scale software.
• Experience with large-scale Cloud development (AWS, GCP) using containers, orchestration, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).

Nice to have

• Experience in fast-paced and matrixed organizations.
• Experience operating agile development, production services, and high availability.
• Understanding of networking (HTTP, TCP/IP, routing).
• Experience working with international team members.
• Fluent in Mandarin.
