What you will do

• Lead critical technical art implementations and ensure asset creation guidelines are followed.
• Identify opportunities for and create custom tooling for the technical art team.
• Drive technical solutions for high visual fidelity balancing mobile hardware limitations.
• Collaborate with developers and artists on new game features and UI designs.
• Support Junior TAs with onboarding and training.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience using Unity.
• Advanced knowledge of real-time graphics pipeline, shader programming, and Unity Engine.
• Extensive experience authoring GLSL shaders in ShaderLab.
• Ability to make targeted optimizations using profiling and benchmarking tools.
• Strong proficiency in C# for creating custom components and tools.
• Expert understanding of the Unity UI system.
• Solid knowledge of 3D/2D art asset creation software.
• Proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Mobile game development experience is highly desirable.
