What you will do
- Lead and mentor an Android development team, fostering a strong culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Drive architectural design and development of complex features, ensuring clean, scalable, and high-quality code.
- Oversee the full Android development cycle, from design to deployment.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, DevOps, BI Engineers, and business teams to execute the product roadmap.
- Ensure code quality through regular code reviews and adherence to best practices.
- Manage project schedules, resources, and priorities to meet product milestones on time.
Requirements
- Over 4 years of experience building Android apps with Kotlin.
- At least 1–2 years of experience leading Android developers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
- Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design principles.
- Familiarity with Google's design principles and interface guidelines.
- Hands-on experience with multithreading, mobile memory management, and working with RESTful APIs.
- Solid grasp of Jetpack components like ViewModel, Room, Coroutines, and WorkManager.
- Work visa/immigration sponsorship is not available for this position
Nice to have
- Experience with system apps.
- Working experience with Dependency Injection.
- Experience with testing frameworks and best practices.
