What you will do

• Manage a team of 5-10 Software Engineers across experience levels.
• Ensure VALORANT Players receive a consistently great services experience in Riot and Tencent regions.
• Serve as a hands-on engineering leader, actively contributing across all phases of the product lifecycle.
• Develop a technical vision for your team and communicate it clearly.
• Advocate for Players and coordinate with other teams across Riot and Tencent.
• Foster a collaborative and satisfying environment for your development team.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience as a software engineer in services development roles.
• 2+ years experience leading an engineering team.
• Expertise with C#, Java, Golang, or similar languages.
• Experience with Lean or Agile development processes.
• Experience with cloud computing and building large-scale backend systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++.
• Experience with Unreal Engine.
