IT Helpdesk Engineer

Location: Beşiktaş, Istanbul, Turkey
Employment type: Full-time, On-site
Salary DOE (up to 3k USD)


Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support to employees of an international company, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Coordinate and support the company's IT services to optimize their use and efficiency.
- Configure workstations, servers, and user systems, including hardware and software installation.
- Ensure reliable operation of data networks and communication systems.
- Set up new workplaces and computers, including cabling and hardware configuration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows 10, 11, MS Office, and other software applications.
- Support, manage, and maintain desktop hardware, including patch updates, hardware replacements, and repairs.
- Manage IT equipment inventory and track asset usage.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure.
- Administer systems and applications according to established permissions and security policies.
- Participate in resolving various technical issues promptly and effectively.
- Guide users through the installation of applications and peripherals.
- Address user tickets in IT Service Management (ITSM) systems regarding hardware, software, and network problems.
- Handle server hardware replacements and upgrades.
- Monitor and maintain license compliance and audit usage of IT resources.
- Collaborate with team members on IT projects and initiatives.
- Contribute to improving IT processes and service quality.

Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or related roles.
- Educational background in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or relevant fields.
- Intermediate knowledge of IT systems, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Turkish (both oral and written); Russian and Turkish proficiency is also acceptable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in team settings.
Good communication skills and customer-oriented approach.

Full-time, on-site position
