Senior Manual Test Engineer

ACCESA is hiring for a European insurance technology client that provides embedded insurance and digital insurance-management solutions for e-commerce, automotive, travel, bancassurance, and cyber industries.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end quality across web interfaces, backend services, integrations, and data.
• Design test strategies, plans, and cases for APIs, integrations, browsers, and platforms.
• Test third-party integrations, internal tools, data synchronization, performance, reliability, and error handling.
• Validate backend APIs and databases, including data-level checks and SQL-based verification.
• Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, communicate quality risks, and support timely resolution.
• Improve QA processes and documentation, including the use of AI tools and Spec-Driven Development practices.

Requirements

• Proven software testing experience with deep knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Strong API testing skills, including Postman, API documentation review, and functional, non-functional, performance, and reliability scenarios.
• Experience designing and executing test strategies for APIs, integrations, and database-level validation.
• Strong understanding of backend systems, databases, SQL, and basic system architecture.
• Hands-on testing of modern web applications and e-commerce platforms built with React, PHP, Go, or similar technologies.
• Ability to test frontend UI and backend services across browsers and platforms.
• Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, X-Ray, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or Aqua.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and fluent Business English, spoken and written.
• Familiarity with Spec-Driven Development and AI-assisted delivery; hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude to create and review test scenarios, test cases, automation scenarios, and QA documentation.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs, identify gaps and edge cases, align them with business requirements, and own the final result.

Nice to have

• Test automation experience for UI and/or APIs.
• Experience with performance or load testing tools.
